Do you offer maintenance packages for WordPress websites?

Yes! Our agency is specialised in fulfilling WordPress Developments and WordPress Maintenance tasks.

What is Custom Development?

Custom developments are typically tasks that require on or more developers to build a function or plugin from scratch.

For example: Installing and setting up a plugin will be covered by the Maintenance Plan. Developing a custom plugin or alter existing plugins is custom development and will be billed hourly to your account.

Is your website maintenance billed in one hour blocks?

No. Website maintenance is billed in 30 minute increments or tasks. The minimum task duration is 15 minutes per job. Custom developments are usually not included in these tasks.

Will unused number of hours in a month be carried to the next month?

Regrettably not as the packages are on monthly recurring basis, number of unused hours will not be carried over to the next month.

Can I upgrade/downgrade my website maintenance plan any time?

Yes. Our website maintenance services can be upgraded or downgraded at anytime. The change will be effective from the next billing cycle. You can contact our support team to help with your plan changes.

Can I have multiple sites with a single plan?

No, a single site maintenance will be included in single plan. We can look at a discounted price for customers with more than 3 websites.

Is there a contract and how is payment handled?

There is no long-term agreement. Each plan is for a minimum of 3 months. You will be billed on the 27th of each month for the next forthcoming month and need to pay the maintenance package within 5 working days.  After 3 months, your Maintenance Plan may be canceled anytime with a 10 day minimum notice before the next renewal date.

How long does it take to complete website maintenance changes on my website?

It totally depends on the amount of changes requests we have received from you. By receiving the change requests, we will confirm the turnaround time. Usually all changes are completed with 24 business hours. Some changes such a development of a special plugin or alterations of an existing plugin might take longer. Our development team will advise you accordingly.

Are there changes on a website you cannot do?

Regrettably yes. Sometimes we can't perform a website maintenance request. This could be due to the coding language used on your website or restrictions imposed by your current hosting provider, or other reasons.

What is covered in your Website Maintenance packages?

Can't I maintain my website by myself?

What hours does your agency operate?

Our standard hours are between 08:00 - 18:00, Monday to Friday.

However, we understand that emergencies can happen, or that waiting until the next working day for assistance might not be ideal.

That’s why we also offer after-hours support (weekends, public holidays, and between the hours of 18:00 - 08:00) so you can get a hold of us whenever you need to.

Our after-hours support is charged as an additional monthly fee. Let us know if this is something you’d be interested in, and we will happily include it as part of your retainer.

I’m also a digital marketing agency. Can we work together?

Who will run my account?

You will have two main points of contact: your account manager and strategy expert.

Your account manager will be your main point of contact, handling your day-to-day queries and ensuring you are always up-to-date on your marketing campaign’s progress.

Your strategy expert is an experienced professional that specializes in a particular core service at SSG (e.g. an SEO specialist or web developer).

They are responsible for the execution of your online marketing campaigns. 

You’ll be able to communicate with both your account manager and strategy expert in meetings or via email.

What if I decide I don't want to proceed after receiving the quote?

Finalizing Contracts:

Upon receiving a signed SOW, your New Business Strategist at Digitopia will connect with the CEO of our company to review the contract, countersign the agreement, and send it back to you for your records.

Accounting:

Within 72 hours of receiving a signed SOW, our Accounting Department will be in touch with a request for initial payment. 

Dedicated Strategist:

For multi-service clients, you will be assigned a dedicated Account Strategist as your main point of contact. Unlike the typical "overloaded Account Manager," your strategist only leads a handful of clients. This allows each strategist the time needed to immerse themselves completely in your brand. Your strategist will act as a seamless extension of your internal team.

Initial Audit & Kickoff Meeting:

Prior to the client kickoff meeting, the team will have requested access to all necessary platforms and reporting tools, which will be used to perform an initial audit of all relevant systems and past marketing activities.
